Baia Sonambula, which translates to "sleeping beach" is perfectly named as such due to its prime location along Tofo Beach in Mozambique.
This understated, stylish Mozambique beach hideaway is incredibly easy on the eye. Effortless design encompassing stone and thatch, adorned with flowering bougainvillaea adding a pop of natural colour. It's one of our favourites along the Mozambican coastline, mainly because it's small and intimate, yet never feels crowded.
Open spaces abound at this Mozambique guest house in Tofo, with plenty of secluded nooks and sitting areas scattered throughout the property. The staff are always available to offer a cold beverage exactly when you most need it.
The far-reaching views from the terrace are outstanding, and there's even a telescope on standby for whale watching (or star gazing). At night, keep your doors wide open and let the sound of the surf and the echoes of million seashells lulling you to sleep.
