Guests will find tasty local beers and excellent seafood and of course the sought after Mozambique prawns! The Bazaruto Archipelago National Park consists of a chain of gorgeous islands and fabulous marine life which includes the rare Dugong. The park lies just off shore from Vilanculos.

There are a number of ways to get to Vila do Paraiso. Guests who wish to self-drive should set aside at least 2 days if travelling from Johannesburg. Travel at night is not recommended. It is at least a 9 hour drive from Maputo to Vilanculos on a scenic route with one or two rough road conditions. There is a variety of accommodation along the way.
There are scheduled flights from OR Tambo International Airport and Lanseria in Johannesburg, South Africa as well as internal scheduled flights from Maputothe capital of Mozambique. Airport transfers will be arranged for Vila do Paraiso guests.
