Baia Sonambula Guest House is located 23 kilometres from Inhambane. This popular coastal city is known as the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago and is located 500 kilometres north of Maputo.
While the road is in excellent condition to travel through here from the capital (and suitable for all vehicles) we strongly advise you plan for at least seven hours driving time
If you're short on time and want to get straight to Baia Sonambula, the quickest option is to fly directly to Inhambane Airport. From the airport, we can arrange a private transfer.
The other option is to fly directly from Johannesburg to Vilankulos. From there, the journey will take further 4,5 hours by road transfer.
