Azura is the first luxury eco-boutique retreat in Mozambique. The emphasis throughout is on excellent service, architecture in harmony with nature and community upliftment. Azura has just been granted Carbon Neutral Status, another first in Mozambique accommodation.
The villas at this Mozambique luxury lodge are exclusive and located right on the beach. Each villa at Azura has its own pool and a Mozambique host to attend to their guests meals and be of service to them.
Cuisine at Azura is delectable and uses delicious fresh ingredients found locally. The weekly highlight is the 7 course tasting dinner where the chef showcasts his favourite creations. There is also a champagne brunch, candlelit dinners on the beach and picnics. Guests can also have private dinners at their villa.
Visitors to this Mozambique lodge can pamper themselves at the Azura Spa on the beach, or soak in their bath admiring the panoramic views, there is no end to the peace and tranquillity. The local people on the island who work in partnership with Azura are friendly and helpful.
There are many water based activities like snorkelling, scuba diving, island hopping by speed boat and fishing programmes as well as land based ventures like Landrover tours of the island, star gazing and walks, all activities are professionally guided.
