Driving to Vilanculos Beach Lodge

Follow the main toll road from Komatipoort to Maputo. Just before getting into Maputo, turn left onto the National road EN1 to the North (Xai-Xai, Inhambane, Vilanculos, Beira). From this point the turn-off to the right towards Vilanculos is ±700km (435 miles). Vilanculos Beach Lodge signs will lead you from the village to the lodge, which lies about 4km (2.4 miles) north of the village.

There are charter flights or scheduled flights from Johannesburg direct, via Nelspruit or Vilanculos flights from Maputo and Beira - with Federal Air, LAM (Mozambique Airlines) and CFA Air Charter. On arrival at Vilanculos you will be met by a representative from Vilanculos Beach Lodge, who will assist you with clearing customs and immigrations prior to boarding the transfer vehicle.
