Just north of Morrungulo is the Sylvia Shoal ranging from 10 to 25 metres at its maximum depth. See abundant reef fish, hard and soft corals, game fish, a vast variety of Nudibranchs as well as beautiful Djiboti Giants and Spanish Dancers, also turtles, mantas, eels and sharks.
South of Sylvia Shoal, there is New Year’s Reef which ranges from 12 to 27 metres. This reef is plentiful in anemones, green tree corals, whip corals and inhabited with many turtles, scorpion fish, lobster, groupers, rays and reef fish to name a few.
For more advanced divers there is Tokyo D which lies just off shore with depths ranging from 18 to 40 metres. Being in the Mozambique current creates perfect conditions for a world class drift dive with crystal clear water and all kinds of coral serving as a safe haven for a multitude of fish varieties. See large schools of eagle rays, devil rays and mantas, also a variety of sharks such as Hammerheads, Tiger Sharks, Bull Sharks, White and Blacktips.
