Your Azura Quilalea Private Island Experience

Azura at Quilalea is a beautiful private Island situated in the Quirimbas Archipelago off the coast of northern Mozambique. The Island is inside the Quirimbas Archipelago Marine Sanctuary. The island is about 30 nautical miles North of Pemba. The island is totally uninhabited apart from the staff so you can really escape from everything.

Quilalea Private Island is a luxurious eco-retreat which offers comfortable accommodation in 9 seafront villas. The villas have a rustic exterior that belies the comforts within. Each villa has all the modern conveniences you could want.

Quilalea Private Island is in a pristine marine reserve and has been built around eco-friendly principles. Electricity is harnessed through solar power and wind generation and water is captured through rain water harvesting and desalination. Each suite has controls that allow you to control the amount of electricity you consume with an eco-mode or luxury mode that allows you to run the air-conditioning.

You can relax in a hammock beneath one of the giant baobabs on the island or work on your tan on the beautiful white sandy beaches. Spend a morning indulging in a spa treatment.
