Ibo Island Lodge is situated on Ibo Island in the Quirimbas Archipelago in Northern Mozambique. Flights to the Quirimbas Archipelago are easily available with daily flights to Pemba International Airport in Mozambique, followed by a light aircraft or helicopter to Ibo Island.

Excellent flight access is available from Pemba on Mozambique Airlines (LAM) from Johannesburg (South Africa), Maputo (Mozambique) and Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania). Precision Air also has flights from Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and Nairobi (Kenya).

There is a 25 minute light aircraft flight from Pemba to Ibo that flies over the Quirimbas Archipelago directly to Ibo Island air strip and is truly a visually spectacular experience. Boat and helicopter transfers are also available that link Ibo Lodge with the neighbouring resorts of Quilalea, Matemo, Gulado, Medjumbe and Vamezi.
