Unspoiled surroundings and friendly people welcome all those in search of an authentic holiday experience. Air and land transfers take place from the cities of Nampula or Pemba.
There are 12 rustic chalets at this eco-friendly lodge in Nampula Province. The chalets were designed by a local French architect who developed traditional chalets in a sophisticated space. Each chalet has a magnificent sea view - even from the king-size bed and is unobtrusively positioned amongst the dune vegetation.
This Memba Bay accommodation has many hidden delights to discover, the main attractions are the secluded and sheltered beaches along 3km (1.8 miles) of coastline; world-class on and off-shore diving for all levels of experience in pristine conditions; unforgettable whale watching from the shore and by boat from June to November when these amazing creatures coming right into the bay.
Nuarro Eco Lodge in Mozambique also offers exciting land activities like eco-trails and bush picnics, authentic cultural visits and day trips. Back at the lodge, light snacks are available during the day at the informal beach bar next to the Marine Activity Centre with lively, relaxed get-togethers happening in the evening.
From the western end of the beach, Nuarro guests can enjoy panoramic water views from the classy restaurant and cocktail bar, while savouring fresh seafood dishes and other dishes. In the afternoons, tea and coffee are served in the sunken lounge or library. There is also a TV room and internet access available to guests.
