Our Quirimbas Fly-in Package allows you to escape to a secluded deluxe island resort. It is the ideal Mozambique holiday to suit a variety of guests including families and honeymooners. Enjoy great water sports such as kayaking round the point or learning to wind surf. The Quirimbas Archipelago has some of the best diving sites in the world. Beginner divers can go snorkelling and explore the shallower coral brommies.

More experienced divers can go on diving excursions to some of the best dive sites in the world and see schools of Barracuda and Tuna. Dolphins can be seen year round and Whales are seasonal visitors. Perhaps try deep sea fishing and catch one of these powerful fish.

Alternatively stay close to shore and enjoy optional activities such as water skiing, wake and knee boarding or play a game of volleyball. Perhaps do nothing at all except relax with a refreshing cocktail or go for a lazy stroll up the pristine white beach. Go on an island excursion and see Giant Coconut Crabs.

Day 1: Johannesburg - Pemba - Qurimbas Archipelago

On the first day of your Quirimbas Fly-in Package you will catch a flight from Johannesburg to Pemba Airport. Once you have completed immigration, a lodge representative will meet you and assist with your check in for a light aircraft flight to the Quirimbas Archipelago. Once you have landed, a short ride takes you to the deluxe island resort.

Settle in to your Mozambique beach accommodation and make yourself at home – go for a walk on the sandy white beach or have a dip in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Sip on a refreshing cocktail on the deck in front of your chalet and watch the amazing sunset. The hosts will then plan the next few day’s activities with you, followed by a delicious dinner.

Days 2 – 7: Quirimbas Archipelago

Spend the next few days of your Mozambique holiday exploring the island. Wake up early and go snorkelling on the reef off the northern point and see many different fish and marine creatures such as Leatherback and Green Turtles. Dolphins are often seen and in the summer months whales are common during the winter months.

After a delicious breakfast,t spend some time relaxing on the beautiful sandy white beach or enjoy water sports such as kayaking in the lagoon. Perhaps learn to wind surf or arrange to go on optional activities such as trips to go diving on the vibrant reefs. See schools of Barracuda, King Fish and Fusiliers and Honeycomb Morays. On shallower brommie dives see Sweetlips, Angel Fish and Trigger Fish.

The Mozambique coastline offers some of the best deep sea fishing in the world, and you can try catching Yellow-fin Tuna, Wahoo, King Fish and Sail Fish. All these fish are strong fighters and are caught on a catch and release basis. Return to the deluxe island resort and play volley ball or beach tennis. Other water sports offered include wind surfing or water skiing, wake and knee boarding in the bay. Learn to sail in Hobie Cats and Gypsys in the tranquil bay. Go on island excursions in a Land Cruiser to a local village and learn about Quirimbas Island life. Explore the Island and see Fish Eagles and huge Coconut Crabs.

Day 8: Quirimbas Archipelago - Pemba – Johannesburg

On the last morning of your Quirimbas Fly-in Package will still have time to enjoy a walk on the beach before breakfast. Afterwards, the minibus will take you to the airstrip where you will catch a light aircraft flight back to Pemba for your connecting flight to Johannesburg.
