Days 1 & 2: Pestana Rovuma Hotel, Maputo, Mozambique

This island vacation is the perfect opportunity for family island resort holidays in Mozambique. Children are supervised during exciting activities, allowing a great breakaway to Mozambique for the whole family.

Located in Maputo, the cultural centre and capital of Mozambique, is the luxurious Pestana Rovuma Hotel. Explore the city’s eclectic Portuguese and Indian culture by taking in the sights from one of the side walk cafés. Other interesting opportunities are a guided tour of the city or exciting water activities on the beach. Days 2 - 7: Inhaca Lodge Island Resort, Mozambique

Situated amongst lush tropical vegetation and coconut palm groves, Inhaca Lodge is an island paradise, a mere 10 minutes by plane from Maputo, the capital of Mozambique.

Allow your children to explore the exciting activities of the Kids Club, complete with a games room and supervisional staff, while you enjoy the tantalizing island cuisine, feasting on fresh prawns. Days 7 & 8: Pestana Rovuma, Maputo, Mozambique

You will be able to leave the island for your return flight after lunch if you wish. This last night in Maputo will enable you to do some more sightseeing in the capital city of Mozambique. Relax before either catching your flight or driving back to Johannesburg, South Africa.

• 5 nights accommodation at Pestana Inhaca Island Lodge in a Family room, on a Dinner, Bed, Breakfast (Half Board) basis

• One free snorkelling trip to the Biology Station per stay
• Free daily drop and collect at Portuguese Island (09h30 depart – 12h00 return. 14h30 depart – 17h00 return)
