Fishing is possible all year round with good catches of Tuna and King Fish. Surf and night fishing is good throughout the year. Big game fishing such as Marlin, Sail Fish and Wahoo each has their own season. The Marlin season runs from October to January.

Mozambique may not be considered one of the world's greatest birding destinations, but its diverse eco-systems are home to over 600 species of birds. In mid- summer between November and February many species can be seen, including rare species of Cuckoo and many migratory species.
