Archipelago Resort is located 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) south of Vilanculos in the idyllic countryside of Mozambique, and just 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) from Vilanculos International Airport.

Directions from Zimbabwe

The road south of Inchope is under repair, although the recent rains slowed the progress down over the 60 kilometres of affected area. While a 4X4 is not required, caution must be taken at all times. The distance from the Mutare border post to Vilanculos, Mozambique is 580 kilometres (360.4 miles).

Directions from South Africa

The road below Vilanculos toward Xai-Xai is under repair; however, the road is nearly complete from South Africa to the resort. On some stretches it is necessary to drive with care, but soon it will be complete and a high class road. The distance from Nelspruit to Vilanculos is 910 kilometres (565 miles). There are daily flights from Johannesburg to Vilanculos (twice daily during peak season) and on Tuesdays and Fridays from Nelspruit to Vilanculos.
