Laguna Camp is located a few minutes from the village of Bilene, Mozambique which is 180km (111 miles) north of Maputo. Laguna overlooks the beautiful Bilene Lagoon from the top of the dunes. The beach facing the sea can be accessed by 4x4 vehicles only.

Bilene, Mozambique is a small village on the Indian Ocean. Bilene Lagoon is formed by a long sandbar which separates it from the Indian Ocean. This creates a safe and peaceful place for many types of water based activities including great snorkelling and sailing. The lagoon is ideal for families as it has calm, shallow waters and long sandy beaches.

Laguna Camp can be reached by 2x4 vehicles and low clearance caravans on the longer of 2 access routes. The shorter route is a gravel road and only 4x4 vehicles can pull caravans, trailers and boats on this route. It is advisable to arrive at the camp during the day time. The use of Quad bikes is restricted for travel to town and surrounding areas only – they are prohibited for driving within the camp and on the Bilene beach in Mozambique.
