Getting to Guiquindo Lodge, Inhambane

Vehicles with high clearance and a Diff lock or more are recommended. From the border post at the southern end of Kruger National Park in South Africa, it's an easy 6 hour drive to Inhambane and the Manta coast. This is a great way to see the country.
Driving to Guiquindo Lodge
From South Africa follow EN1 until you reach Maputo. Continue on the EN1 in the direction of Xai Xai / Beira. Take the turn off to Inhambane and follow the road for 27.5km (17 miles). Turn off at the signboards indicating Guinjata and Coconut Bay (dirt road). Follow the dirt road for 16km (10 miles) until you reach a sign for Guiquindo Lodge. Turn left here and travel for a further 2km / 1.2 miles, (4x4 might be necessary) until you see the ocean and Guiquindo Lodge in front of you.
