Praia do Sol Beach Resort is situated near the quaint village of Bilene which is one of Mozambique's favourite holiday destinations. Situated alongside the 27km long Uembje beach lagoon, this quaint village has a hotel, motel, camping grounds, petrol station, post office, and a few bars, restaurants, and clubs

There are also several local shops where basic products can be bought. The lagoon is an ideal family spot with long, bright stretches of sand for beach and shallow, calm water for safe swimming. The mouth of the lagoon, usually blocked by a sand bank, is best reached by boat.

Jet-skis, water skis, wind surf gear and paddle boats are available for hire. The fishing is also very good. The resort is about 2km (1.2 miles) outside the village of Bilene itself and although with any vehicle. Proceeding through the border of South Africa and Mozambique, you will be travelling on the new toll road via Marcia to Bilene.
