Smugglers and Palmeiras accommodation near Bazaruto Archipelago, offers rooms with shared ablutions, en-suite B&B rooms and self-catering chalets in Vilanculos. There are pools at both options.

There is secure parking and a laundry service at this Mozambique accommodation as well as plenty of hot water. Smugglers Restaurant at the harbour serves English Breakfasts and great pub grub including seafood, traditional fare, salads and desserts. The delicious cashew nut pie is a must. Packed lunches can also be prepared.

Palmeiras Lodge enjoys a peaceful position on the beach and is favoured by romantic couples and groups who enjoy activities out and about as well as relaxed time by the pool or with a good book. A continental breakfast is included in the bed and breakfast rate.

Smugglers Accommodation

The accommodation overlooks an oasis of palm trees and a lush resident's garden with swimming pools (and a small children’s pool). Linen is provided but towels require a deposit. Soap and toilet rolls are provided.

Rooms with shared ablutions

We have 10 basic and comfortable twin bed standard rooms with shared ablutions, which are regularly serviced and quite private when in use. There are 2 communal women’s ablutions and 2 men’s communal ablutions. Each ablution contains a shower, hand basin, toilet and tiled floors.

En-suite rooms

There are also double en-suite air-conditioned rooms and an A frame cottage with two en-suite rooms, kitchen, deck and loft.

Palmeiras Lodge

The accommodation is located in a pretty garden with a pool, just 20 metres from the beach. Bed and breakfast chalets:

Each bedroom has a double or twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with shower and a deck. There are 5 chalets, 3 are freestanding and one has 2 en-suite bedrooms with inter-leading doors. Tea and coffee facilities are provided as well as bar fridges in each room. Air conditioning is also available. Breakfast is served on the deck and includes tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereal, fruit, toast and spreads / cheeses.

Self-catering house

The “Grand Casa” has 2 large en-suite rooms sleeping up to 4 people each (double and 2 single beds in each room). There is a sea facing patio, garden, boma (outdoor enclosure) for eating and relaxing, kitchen, barbeque area and pantry with fridge / freezer. Linen and bath towels are provided.
