Benguerra Island Lodge is located on Benguerra Island which lies within the Bazaruto Archipelago, off the coast of Mozambique. The lodge can be found in a protected area on the north-west side of Benguerra Island.

Benguerra Island is one of the biggest islands in the Bazaruto Archipelago and is approximately 11km by 5km in size. The island, which comprises of pristine beaches, forest, wetland eco-systems and savannah, was declared a National Park in 1971.

How to get there:

O.R. Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) is only 2 hours flight to Vilanculos, Mozambique. Transfers are made to the island from Vilanculos which may consist of a short boat ride or by air to the airstrip on the island. It is also possible to fly via Maputo or to drive to Benguerra Lodge.
