Kick back and relax in stunning surroundings on this 8 Day Mozambique Vacation Package. You spend 3 nights on magical Ibo Island in the Quirimbas Archipelago, soaking up the historic surrounds and enjoying all the delights of an island holiday from your sea facing king suite.

After a short flight and boat transfer, you move on to Londo Lodge, an exclusive bush and beach resort just north of Pemba. You spend 4 nights here in a luxury ocean view villa. Your days are filled with great activities which show off the best of this spectacular destination on the edge of the Quirimbas National Park.

Day 1 - 4: Ibo Island Lodge, Quirimbas Archipelago

Pemba and transfer to Ibo Island

Flights from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport to Pemba Airport are operated by Air Mozambique three times a week (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) and by SA Airlink twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday).

On arrival at Pemba Airport, a representative will be waiting for a meet and greet and to show you to your air transfer from Pemba Airport to Ibo Island. The air hop is a scenic 30 minute flight over the southern section of the Quirimbas Archipelago and National Park.

Ibo Island is a unique destination which has been nominated for World Heritage status. This little island in paradise offers idyllic beach experiences, ancient history and culture, water sports and birding amongst the mangrove forests. Ibo Island Lodge with its elegant colonial buildings and air of romance is the perfect place to enjoy sumptuous seafood dishes and tranquillity.

Ibo Island Lodge Accommodation: Your stay includes return air transfers; accommodation in a sea facing king suite; all meals; a guided historic tour; daily transfer to a private sandbank beach and emergency medical evacuation.

Air Hop from Ibo to Pemba and boat transfer to Londo Lodge

On day 4, there is a 30 minute flight transfer to Pemba Airport where you will be met and taken to your boat transfer. The boat hop from Pemba to Londo Lodge Beach Resort takes about 20 minutes.

Day 5 - 8: Londo Lodge Beach Resort

Londo Lodge offers an authentic African bush and beach holiday destination. Londo is located on a peninsula and surrounded by wonderful Indian Ocean coral reefs and an untouched wilderness. You will find an exclusive private beach and exceptional diving, game fishing and fly-fishing.

Other activities include exploring the mangrove rivers and lush vegetation or going on game walks to spot abundant small game and prolific birdlife. You can also relax at the spa and enjoy various massages and treatments.

Londo Lodge Accommodation: Your stay includes return boat transfers; accommodation in a luxury ocean view villa; all meals; all drinks except premium spirits and cellar wines; all non-motorised water sports.

Boat transfer from Londo Lodge to Pemba

On day 8, your Mozambique holiday draws to a close with a boat transfer from Londo Lodge to Pemba. This transfer is about 20 minutes in duration.
Flights on Air Mozambique from Pemba Airport to Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport depart three times a week on a Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. SA Airlink flies the same route on a Wednesday and Saturday.
